Public Relations Specialization


Public relations professionals are the voice of an organization, and their importance in the success of any marketing campaign cannot be underestimated. In the Public Relations specialization, you will examine strategies of successful, well-crafted verbal and written communications. Core courses will build a foundation in marketing and communications concepts, including social media strategies.Your specialization studies will focus on theory and execution of public relations plans. Upon completion of this course of study, you will be well-positioned to work in a range of settings:

  • In-house PR departments/corporate communications
  • Nonprofit public relations
  • Public relations agencies
  • Government agencies and offices
